Over the past two weeks, Clearview teachers have had some excellent pd in using the new E-Asttle writing tool. Garry has shared the new writing rubrics and exemplars. As a staff we are beginning to understand the new formats and use the rubrics to score our writing. I really liked the new rubrics, but I found out I was quite a hard marker. It was great to have Garry give some extra clarification, as marking with these rubrics needs to be very accurate. It will be interesting to mark our writing and see what the scores are, once entered into the Asttle programme.

I think it was really beneficial to be able to compare where we marked to discover as a staff how 'on target' we are... looking forward to seeing how we go with moderation now, and where our 'r scores' all come out!
