Incredible Years Teacher Training (Learning and Behaviour)

This is a 7 session course for teachers over the year. It focuses on  strengthening teachers’ classroom management strategies, and promoting children’s prosocial behavior, school readiness, and reducing children’s classroom aggression and noncooperation with peers and teachers. 

Myself (Helen) , Ana and Adele are attending the course. I am finding it very valuable as a way of reflecting on my teaching and would recommend it.The course has lots of group work and we get to work within our own school groups but also in other school groups.
It is a mix of video clips which we discuss and we also put our own behavioural plans into place. We are observed back in our own teaching environments and we are working to put some of the things we have learned into place in our own practice.
